Amber

(Reunited) UBS volunteers caught Amber in a humane trap. She had been on the run for eight days. A scan of her microchip enabled us to find her owner, who lived several miles away. Amber had been seen running all over Bothell, from 176th to 198th, and from 76th to 95th. As volunteers followed her movements, they noticed that Amber kept approaching children. A volunteer with a young boy came to the area of a recent sighting, and the presence of the boy helped Amber calm down and stop running. Once she calmed down and didn’t feel like people were going to try to grab her, she went into the humane trap within about 30 minutes. Amber’s owner was very happy to learn she had been found.
